Last September 9-10, 2012, we had a getaway in Carcar at Ramos Rest House. It's a nice place to spend the weekend with friends and family.
The house is owned by the Ramos family (I don't know personally) which is now based in Cebu City and just had their rest house in Carcar rented for people who want to get away from their busy life in the city.
The place is available for everyone but you have to make a reservation or booking for the place first. The family requires the reservation be made 2 days before the day of arriving in the place.
You can have the whole house for a day (24 hours) for only Php4,000.00, with a maximum of 20 heads. And an additional Php100.00 per exceeding heads. The house is fully furnished. The stove, refrigerator, television set, air conditioning unit, and other house tools are okay to use.
There's only one room but with big floor space, with two double-deck beds on the two sides of the room and an air condition. Very comfy.

Yes, they do cater overnight stay. But you have to book ahead. Try contacting the number I've given above. I don't know if they still use the number cause it's been years since I've been there. But it's really a nice place, I guarantee that.

My Team will be spending an overnight stay in the resort on the 31st of January 2015 and we already have booked and reserved the place.
However, we've read some negative feedback about the resort that visitors are being blamed about the lost items in the resort yet it's just the caretaker who's keeping it. It's more like a "modus". Another feedback is, that the place is old and creepy and not like the pictures that the owner published on a certain website.

DeleteFirst of all, I'm not the owner of the place. I and friends stayed at the rest house overnight somewhere in 2012. Based on my experience, it was not bad at all. What you read above in this blog was my experience there. That was before, I don't know the situation there now.
So I suggest you contact again the person who booked your stay there regarding that issue.
Anyways, that's a good issue you shared here. Now let us know if you've had the answer to your question so everyone like you guys who wants to stay in the place in the future will know the current situation.
